How I Work

Integrative – informed by Psychodynamic, Attachment Styles, Humanistic, Relational, Person- Centred. Behavioural Therapy for Lasting Behaviour Change.

I work within an Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counselling model, trained in a number of different theoretical strands, giving me the flexibility to adapt to what each client is calling for. You are assured of a transparent, dynamic and responsive approach.  I recognise the value of conscious work with diversity and difference in the therapeutic space, and welcome direct work with age, race, culture, religion, belief, sex and sexuality, gender identity, relationship diversity, dis-ability/diff-ability, for example.

I am interested in how developing a relationship with our body can be a valuable resource. Building a connection with our body can support us to stay steady, as well as help us to release old hurts from the past that may be holding us back from living our full potential.

I’m a member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy). I work with adults and young people.

I offer online sessions or in-person sessions from a practice based in London Mayfair.

Investment

Initial consultation - no charge (up to 30mins)

Online counselling sessions - £60 (50mins) - via zoom

Clinic in-person sessions - £80 (50mins) - London Mayfair

A typical therapy session rhythm for new clients:

  • Session 1 – includes assessment, contracting and session commencement
  • Our sessions are 50 minutes and I will let you know when the ending of the session is approaching, usually 10 minutes before the end. This allows the session to conclude in a gentle and steady way.
  • HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?

I recommend a program of 6 sessions to start off with, so that there is a chance to establish a working relationship together. From there we can review and agree what is needed to support you further.
